Widely regarded as the pioneer of India's premium wine industry, Grover Zampa Vineyards has been producing internationally acclaimed wines since 1988. Founded through a landmark collaboration between Indian entrepreneur Kanwal Grover and celebrated Bordeaux winemaker Michel Rolland, the estate combines French winemaking expertise with the unique terroirs of the Nashik Hills in Maharashtra and the Nandi Hills in Karnataka. Warm days, cool nights and carefully managed vineyards allow classic European grape varieties to flourish, producing wines of remarkable freshness, balance and elegance.
Today, Grover Zampa is recognised as one of India's leading fine wine producers, crafting award-winning Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Chenin Blanc, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-inspired blends. Every bottle reflects a commitment to sustainable viticulture, meticulous vineyard management and modern winemaking techniques, showcasing the extraordinary potential of Indian wine on the world stage.
Tasting Note: Crafted from carefully selected Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown in the elevated vineyards of Nandi Hills, this vibrant white wine showcases the freshness and aromatic purity for which Grover Zampa has become renowned. The nose opens with lively aromas of grapefruit, lime zest and green apple, lifted by delicate elderflower, freshly cut herbs and a subtle hint of guava. On the palate, crisp citrus fruit is complemented by notes of white peach and gooseberry, while bright natural acidity and a gentle mineral edge provide energy and precision. Clean, refreshing and beautifully balanced, the finish is long and expressive, making this an excellent companion to seafood, sushi, salads and lightly spiced Asian cuisine.
