Peccavi Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted exclusively from estate-grown fruit in the northern reaches of Margaret River, one of Australia's most celebrated wine regions. Here, ancient gravelly loam soils, a cooling maritime climate and meticulous vineyard stewardship produce wines of purity, structure and longevity. Made in limited quantities, each vintage reflects Peccavi Estate's commitment to exceptional quality, sustainable viticulture and the belief that great wine begins in the vineyard. Whether enjoyed today or carefully cellared, every bottle expresses the elegance, balance and regional character that define Peccavi Estate.
Tasting Note: This COVID year produced some stunning wines from Margaret River, and this is certainly one of those. It's probably the best Peccavi wine I've tasted over many years. There's power and there's drive here, and it's evident from the first take on the nose. Deep chocolatey blackcurrant aromas, a little olive tapenade, and just that faint hint of lifted bay leaf. On the palate, the rich black fruits are picked up with a slightly oyster shell minerality and some tightly woven oak. This is just starting to begin its journey as those dense and concentrated fruit flavours start to reveal. Excellent wine. – Ray Jordan
